late 70s redwings reeled him in from czechoslavakia . big , easy going with good hands , a finess talent type guy but not great here in nhl anyway . had a rep from euro hockey . though i think he was pretty old when got here . i saw him plenty of times in the old red barn

Gordie was one of the greatest at public appearances. He talked to everyone and he rarely left before everyone got a chance to meet him and get an autograph. One of the most down to earth super stars you could ever meet. I true people person.

I honestly don't think I've ever heard of this guy before.

Played in Detroit for 5 years on bad teams. Had 2 seasons of 70+ points. His best seasons overall were WHL. I wasn't familiar with Nedomansky until reading old Wings programs. Nice to see the organization pay respects to a guy swept under the rug because he was a Dead Wing.
