Didn't this come up with the Red Sox and Yankees even before the Houston thing? Weren't they both fined for sign stealing 2-3 years ago? Maybe that was rumor but maybe it's why it's not so shocking with all these allegations.

I hope the Redsox are punished very harshly because this is pretty egregious cheating, but man MLB looks bad here. Two of their last three World Series Champs are caught cheating, it looks like they were either completely ignorant to the situation (doubtful) or just ignored it was happening because it helped offenses (like steroids)

Could cause trouble for Manfred too since, like you said, two of the last three champions have cheated.

While Selig did make it throw the Steroid scandals, those were just individual players, not entire organizations working on cheating. Plus Selig was a owner himself so he was working for his friends / had some really good job security.
