I like the "standard location and angle for central camera" initiative.
the "2 minute storytelling" bit is fluff for me, but may appeal to other people. if it works, its fine. league-provided footage of 70 2 minute spots at $5000 a pop to local broadcasters will probably help a lot of them.
I think HNIC uses 12 cameras. some broadcasts use far less. I do not know how they can make up that broadcasting gap.
