What do you think of this insight behind the Gallant firing?

I'm a big poker player and follow him on Twitter so I know his opinion on the firing is garbage without having to listen to this.

First season: 109 points, first place in division and stanley cup finalist
Second season: 93 points, third in division and first round exit
Third season: 54 points at time of firing, tied for 4th place in the division with a team with 2 games in hand.

It was clear to me his time was up. Doesn't diminish the magic of the inaugural season but there are people out there who would rather the team had missed the playoffs the last two seasons with Gallant behind the bench than have the best record in the league under another coach. Same people who'd rather Fleury play and the team lose than win with the other goalie.
