Pretty big frame, with good production.

Doesn't stand out much in terms of a two way presence, but he's shifty for his size.

Thoughts?

Huge fan and he's only going to keep rising. If he keeps playing this way going into June, he's a top 40 selection IMO.

I would disagree about him not standing out as a two-way presence.

Defensively, he uses great mobility and a big reach to keep forwards to the outside. He's great at getting his stick in passing lanes and blocking shots. He's a big time stand out on Owen Sound's penalty kill which is currently 6th in the OHL.

Offensively, he runs the point well on the powerplay and has gained a ton of confidence this year in his ability to start the breakout.

For those familiar with OHL history, picture Thomas' brother Geoffrey (a Tampa Bay Lightning draft pick); a player with a terrific hockey brain, but lacking in the physical gifts that would have made him a solid pro candidate. Now give him all the physical gifts that Thomas has, in addition to a more aggressive approach offensively.

He's a great prospect and is right there in the conversation with the likes of Matt Spencer, Rasmus Andersson, Mitchell Vande Sompel, and Travis Dermott for top OHL defender available.

Not a punishing body checker or a guy who runs around hitting people, but he uses his size well to win battles in the corners and to tie up in front of the net. Don't confuse a lack of willingness to push around the opposition with softness.

Thanks, Ive always been a fan of defencemen who use their size intelligently.
