Surprised I didn't see anything here about this yet. Rob Ray and a business partner are opening a restaurant in Springville, NY. They remodeled the old Country Deli/Sunoco gas station on Rte. 219. It actually looks really nice.
I'm really excited because it's in the backyard of where I work and there isn't a whole lot of selection in Springville for me to go to for lunch. I've actually known about it for quite a while now, he is friends with the owners where I work and word got out before they even bought the property. He stops in to the shop from time to time. Most of the people don't even recognize him until someone points him out surprisingly. I usually just say hi and ask him how he's doing, shake his hand and get back to work if he's not busy talking to the bosses.
