I like Oil's list, except under the 8.5C list I would probably move Kostytsin and Fleury. Both have high cielings, but seem a bit risky to me.

Yea, id say he was an 8.5B. I wouldnt really give A to anybody like a previous poster said.

Not to nay say, but it is probably because he was merely an offensive dynamo without defense in college.....and initially was the same way in the AHL. I have not seen him play since Rochester came to Nashville to play the Admirals at the GEC, so I'm not the best guy to ask......but thats your most likely answer. Some probably think he still has bust potentiall all based on his willingness to give all his effort and play defense.....

I think Sully will be a B, mainly because of his offensive production, his leadership, and his defensive work (look at Gaborik in a manner)...He'll most likely be a top 6 winger/center/foward.

I completely agree. Vanek should be put in the same category as Carter.

As a NYR fan, I have to admit, Tyutin is not an 8.5A

based on the # system, i'd say 8.5 is about right...that's in the good #2 defenseman range. but yeah i'd knock him down to a B...he *should* reach that but it's not a given, at least as much as an A would seem

What about Alexei Kaigorodov, he did lead the russian league in points.

I'd move up Kaigorodov significantly as well. He's now a 7.5B, I think he should at least be an 8.0.

I would make Lundy a 9.0B... he has the talent to dominate, but we still haven't seen him on NA ice - though he should make the transition well.
