I like your team but Cam Newton worries me this season, hit or miss...his receiving corp isn't very good surrounding him and he might struggle this season (I hope not because I took Olsen as my right end) but I think it looks solid on paper, I have the same backs as you but I have Reggie Bush instead of Bernard...also, AJ Green is just a monster

yeah I was back and forth on bush and Bernard, but I like his role in the bengals offense more than reggie in the lions offense.

as for cam, I was all lined up to take drew brees, and then the pick before me he was taken. I believe it was either between newton or brady, and brady doesn't have much to work with either, but im hoping for the best

I'd say that is a pretty solid team, can you let me know what you think of mine. This was in a 12 team league I had the 6th overall pick. My personal take is that I am weak at RB, but I feel pretty confident about the rest.

QB Peyton Manning,
RB Trent Richardson, Ind
RB Chris Ivory, NYJ
WR Dez Bryant, Dal WR
WR Randall Cobb, GB WR
TE Vernon Davis, SF TE
FLEX Jeremy Maclin, Phi WR
D/ST Seahawks D/ST
K Justin Tucker, Bal K

BENCH
Bench Riley Cooper, Phi WR
Bench Philip Rivers, SD QB
Bench Mark Ingram, NO RB
Bench Antonio Gates, SD TE
Bench Jarrett Boykin, GB WR
Bench BenJarvus Green-Ellis, Cin RB
Bench Shayne Graham, NO K

Maclin could be a nice pick depending on where you got him. Coming off 2013 ACL surgery, watch for Chip Kelley to use him more on those slants and quick outs. If its a PPR, Maclin is a nice pick up. Cooper is Foles' deep threat so it may not be a bad idea to start him too.

I would maybe package a TE to get another RB? BJE would be my #2 and Ivory would be on the bench. You have to figure CJ will get most of the carries for the NYJ. Look for Lamar Miller from the Fins or Donta Freeman from ATL if need be. Could be nice PUs.

Otherwise looks solid. Peyton alone won me my title last year so you should be fine with him LOL!

RB's are definitely your weakness. I think Trent will have a breakout season though.

I'm picking 3rd overall on Sept. 2nd. Couldn't think of a better draft spot, all I do is close my eyes and select whichever of McCoy, Charles or AP that falls to the 3 spot.

I love fantasy football.

I've never been a believer of having a backup kicker. The difference between kickers points wise is minimal and I pick up someone the week I have a kicker on a bye.

Use that spot for depth IMO.

You're team looks good. Running back is weak but there is some upside there. I have never liked ingram always thought he would be a bust BUT he slimmed down thus year and looks quicker. He could actually be a real steal for you. Boykin is also a great sleeper, nice pick especially smart since you have Cobb and If Cobb goes down you have insurance and if jordy goes down you have a GOLD mine.

I'd try and get the rookie on the Bengals instead of bge but other than that your club is solid. Maybe ladarius green instead of gates.

Also I've never met anyone better at fantasy football than me haha. Seriously I win multiple leagues every year. Have done 3 leagues every season since 1993. I basically consider it annual income at this point.

Oh and I totally agree with scaredstreit (first time ever?) Do not waste a spot on a backup k. Get yourself a high risk/reward rw/Rb instead.

Dez Bryant scares me a little, he's a fantastic player but if promo takes a shot and his back goes..... weeden is the backup and dezs value plummets like Enron.

Where did you get Trent? Had him last year and was very lucky I traded him, not a fan of his anymore but you can't deny the skill he has.

First glance not so good...Peyton will kill it for you but RB does not look so good. That said you will probably win your league! Will post mine after 9/2 draft.

I'm not used to 8 person leagues but newton worries me especially since you don't have a backup qb. Why don't you have one?

You know I actually forgot about a second qb until the draft ended and I was looking over my team. I don't have a problem dropping a player just to get a qb for one week when cam has a bye and then dropping that qb for another depth player. I don't usually rely on qbs

I hope for your sake this isnt a money league

Why do you say that sir? Others on this board think that's a good team, and I sure am confident in my decisions and my team. So I would like to know why you say that
