This guy is the real deal. Number 1 D written all over him, he can do it all.

Edmonton drafted this Nurse guy who couldn't crack this awful Canadian defense.
He reminds me a Rob Blake for some reason.

Hockey Canada looks great after that decision. Keep off one of the top defensemen. Can't imagine why they lost.

Taking Rasmus ("another defensemen!?") continues to look like an excellent decision for Devine (as well as taking Zadorov). Tremendous upside.

Aside from that, I'm glad Buffalo drafted Ristolainen. He never looked lost or out of place in the NHL, just, well, inexperienced.

I love this kid's potential. A Risto - Pysyk pairing in two years could be the steadiest in the NHL.

No confirmation from team but it appears #Amerks D-man Rasmus Ristolainen is headed up to the #Sabres. He played a lot like an NHLer tonite.

Edit: Further, Ristolainen had a goal and a big hit in last night's game. In his post-game interview, you learn his parents are also visiting.
