I hemmed and hawed between Sven & Sam much longer than I probably should have.

For me Sam's overall game and potential over shadows Sven.

I think Sven has a higher ceiling than Sam does, but Sam's all around game is better than Sven's.

I'm gonna go with Sven although I expect this to be a very close poll. Not sure who will win.

I went with Sven simply because I haven't seen much out of Sam personally other than a couple of dev. camp scrimmages, and I haven't seen much to sway my opinion away from Sven. Sven has gone through three years of post-draft development, now, and his stints in the NHL have been successful, in my opinion.

Going back to the gun to my head philosophy if I had to keep just 1, it would be Sven. The guy is so close to being an impact guy in the NHL. I have stated Bennett over Sven before, but I think of I had to keep just one, I'd keep Sven.

I think if we're going by talent, JG is a bit above the other two, but they are all very close, yeah.

Why shouldn't it? Sven is one of my favourite Flames/prospects (I like him more than Bennett), but Bennett put up better numbers in his draft season while being close to a year younger than Baertschi. Sven is obviously more proven, in that I think we can call him a legitimate NHLer (albeit not a high level one currently), but for his age Bennett has been more impressive.

I guess these polls will vary based on how heavily people value 'readiness'/how close the prospects are to the NHL.

I took Poirier in this case. He has top-6 talent and is close to being NHL-ready, moreso than Baertschi or Bennett IMO.

I thought this was gonna be a lot more wide-open than it seems like it is. I definitely go with Bennett over Sven, but I'm glad Sven still has lots of fans here.
