Alright people listen up. I want to do a position by position top 10 thread every week and see who ranks where and why.

Week 1: Point Guards
Week 2 : Shooting Guards
Week 3 : Small forwards
Week 4 : Power Forwards
Week 5 : Centers

So let's have it..

I find Kyle Lowry massively underrated right now.

Absolutely. The guy just came off of a season in which he was an All-NBA Team selection and he's still being ranked as low as seventh on some of these lists. That's crazy. He's been probably the best all-around point guard in the Eastern Conference the past three seasons.

He had a better season than CP3, Lillard though was insanely good this season, but not more than Lowry.

CP3 is one of the better point guards ever, it's hardly a slight.

If my team is in the finals tomorrow and I have a choice between Paul and Lowry I'm still taking Paul without any hesitation.

Who had a better season last year isn't the only criteria when I'm deciding who the "best" is. Part of it sure but CP3 has a fabulous career backing him up and it's not like he fell off a cliff last year and we are just living in the past. It's still an easy argument to make that Paul is the best genuine point guard in the league.

Lillard with McCollum carried a team that most people thought would be nothing, lost his whole starting line up, and still got them to fifth in the west. No slight on Lowry there either.

Obviously Kyrie>Lowry offensively but Lowry is a more complete player.

Kyle Lowry is in no way, shape or form a better player than Lillard. I guess the Raptors fans have forgotten how poor he looked in the playoffs two years in a row.

needs more DRose

If you would have told anyone five years ago that a certain point guard in the league would win back to back MVP's along with making it to back to back finals (winning one one), they proably all would have said it would be Rose. No way in hell would they have said Curry.
