Ranking On Roster Defenseman #3

Damon Severson takes the no.2 spot on the list. He's going to be the X-factor, make or break it player, game changer, whatever you want to call it. All of us Devils fans are expecting Severson to take the next step this season.

I added Seth Helgeson to the poll due to request, as despite not being very impressed by his play he has an equal shot to make the roster as does Auvitu and Gormley.

Lovejoy for me. I predict he will be a very solid player for us and prove to be an underrated signing.

Gotta go with BLJ. It was a smart signing and I think he will be steady for us, although I fear he might get overworked at times.

I don't expect much of Lovejoy, for me the guy is a third pair D.

That's really worrisome if he really is our #3. Hopefully guys like Severson, Moore and Merrill take the next step. It's clearly their chance.
