Give every player on your team a rating for NHL 15.... About 20 games left and playoffs so you should have a pretty good idea.

JVR (87) Bozak (85) Kessel (90)
Lupul(86) Kadri (86) Kulemin (83)
Raymond (81) Bolland (83) Clarkson (83)
Bodie (76) Mcclement (81) Ashton (77)

Gunnarson (84) Phaneuf (87)
Gardiner (82) Franson (83)
Reilly (80) Gleason (84)

Bernier (86)
Reimer (82)

Notes

Bernier +4 ... Hes having a career year he stands on his head every game
Kessel +2... He's top 5 in scoring 2nd in goals
Clarkson -1.... Showing he's more of a good 3rd liner then a second liner

Glencross (83) - Backlund (83) - Cammy (85)

Hudler( 85/86) - Stajan(81) - Stempniak( 81)

Jones(80) - Monahan(81) - Galiardi(80)

McGrattan(68) - Colborne(77) - Westgarth(69)

Brodie(83) -Gio(87 or 88)

Smid(83) - Wideman(82)

Russel(84) - Butler(79)

Ramo(81)
Berra( 77)

- Cammy not having a great season
- Hudler having an excellent season
- Russel having a great season as well
- Emergence of Backlund
- Brodie showing his capablities
- Gio having an amazing year
- Ramo to me has solidified the starting goalie position before the Olympic break
- Berra playing good after Ramo got injured
-Stempniak is meh and is inconsistent
- Jones is a disappointment
- Wideman was great before his broken hand and has been invisible since
- Smid has become one of my favorites on this team and deserves to stay the same or be slightly upgraded
- Monahan having a decent year, slowed down a bit after his injury.
- Also Glencross goes down because he has been injured most of the time.

These are players are on the rosters as of now and subject to change next season.

My Pens-
When healthy
Kunitz(86-87)-Crosby(96)-Dupuis(80)
Jokinen-(83-84)-Geno(92)-Neal(88-90)
Pyatt(75-77)-Sutter(82)-Bennett(81-82)
Glass(74)-Vitale(78)-Adams(74-76)

FWD Extras- Kobasew(76), Gibbons(75-78), Megna(75-78), and get any other AHL guys to 70-75.

Scuderi(82-84)-Letang(87-89)
Orpik(83-84)-Martin(85-86)
Mattaa(80-85)-Niskanen(84-85)

Fluery(86-88)
Zatkoff(78-80)
Vokoun(78-80)

DF Extras- England(78), Bortuzzo(77-78), Dumolin(76-78), Samuelsson(70), get any other AHL guys to 70-75.

Kunitz-Made team Canada, having Career year, most say its because of Crosby, but hes been great no matter what
Crosby-Stayed the same. Why are you reading this.
Dupuis-He tore his ACL wasn't even playing great as before when in the line-up, meh
Jokinen-He is playing ok, but a good 2nd line winger to me is 85+, so I left him just under
Geno-Keeping him the same. But he is still playing great.
Neal-Send him to most teams and he is on the 1st line, playing great on pace for 40 if memory serves right
Pyatt-Worst waiver pickup ever. But doable 4th liner
Sutter-Perfect 3rd line center. Stayed the same because I am still waiting for his breakout year :naughty:.
Bennett-He struggled with injuries, but when in the line-up he has been good and had some good shifts with Crosby. Maybe get him to 4 green. (He 4 gold before)
Glass + Adams- Both alright 4th liners, stayed the same. I gave Adams 76 because he can kill a penalty so maybe up Defensive stats.
Scuds-Should pretty good Def stats, but slightly below average offensive ones.
Letang-He should have great offensive stats, but not to Karlssons level. Slightly above average defensive stats
Orpik-Kinda tailed off this year, never really does anything Offensive took him down by 1 or 2. Although I doubt he gets it because he played for team USA.
Martin-Played great, better than Orpik, got team USA. Should at least stay at 85, could go up to 86.
Mattaa-Played stellar, hes been great as a rookie (he should get 4 green potential at least) great puck mover and plays well on Defense. Should get low to mid 80's, and an up on potential.
Niskanen-If he is a Pen next year (as I hope so), he will be mid 80's he has played well with Mattaa and shined through all the injuries
Bort/Dumo- Both played good when needed and are physical.
England-Don't know where EA will put him but either way 76-79. Played how somebody would except him to
Fluery-He has played great for us this year and deserves the boost. As he should be at least an 86 in this game, I mean he is one away from Dubynik :shakehead.
Zatkoff-Already a 74, had 6 game winning streak, great back-up.
Voukoun-He is an 84, he is in the last year of his contract so I doubt he will be a Pen with the Zatkoff extension, but he could be around for the play-offs so we will se him then ;).

Holy ****, that took long.

I don't think Seguin gets an 89. I'd say he's 87 tops.

Not saying he's deserving or not, just guessing that's where EA will go.

I also don't know if Lehtonen will be that high either.

I sincerely hope EA balances out their rating system in NHL 15. Right now, it doesn't work well with any career game mode.

Was actually thinking of this the other day for the :avs

tough to tell with a lot of them, as a lot of them are having really strong if not career years.

Assuming no player hits a cold streak or a hot streak between now and seasons end, this is what I see for the Avs next season.

Oreilly(85) - Duchene(89) - McGinn(81)
Landeskog(87) - Stastny(85) - Tanguay(83)
Talbot(81) - Mackinnon(83*) - Paranteau(82)
Bordeleau(75) - Mitchell(79) - McCleod(75)
Cliche(75)

Hejda(84) - EJ(86)
Benoit(79) - Barrie(84)
Holden(77) - Guenin(77)
Wilson(75) - Sarich(75)

Varlamov(86)
Giguere(75)

*Very difficult to pin point an overall for Mackinnon, based on previous games, a top rookie in the previous season would generally be an 83 overall, but Mackinnon right now is on pace for a better rookie season then any rookie in the last few years. And if he keeps his recent pace up could even crack 65 or 70 points. I said 83 for him, but could definitely see it being higher, potentially an 85.

Changes:

Duchene...+1(On a 75 point pace, breakout year for the guy)
Landeskog...+2(Almost a 70 point pace, along with his 2 way game makes him a Callahan type Winger)
Oreilly...+1(Already set himself a new single season goal record, with 20+ games left still)
McGinn...+1(On pace for 20 goals again, and another season of development for him)
Tanguay...-1(Injury riddled season, but still decent numbers)
Paranteau...-2(Overall disappointing season, especially compared to his last 2 seasons)
Mackinnon...+4/+6(Unbelievable Rookie season, borderline superstar already)

EJ...+1(Strong development in his game this season, plus some point production)
Hejda...+2(Became a legitimate Top pairing Defenseman this season)
Barrie...+2(Point production very impressive this season)

Varlamov...+5(Elite goaltending this season)

That's how I view the significant overall changes, and why.

Raffl(81 3.5 Gold) - Giroux (91, 4.5 Gold) - Voracek (86, 4 Gold)
Hartnell (84) - Schenn(84, 4 Gold) - Simmonds (86 4 Gold)
Read (83)- Couturier (83, 4 Gold) - Downie (82, 3.5 Gold
Rosehill (75)- Hall (78) - Rinaldo (76, 3 Gold)

McGinn (78, 3.5 Gold)

Timonen (85)-Schenn(84) (4 Red)
Coburn-(84) Streit (82)
Meszaros (83) Grossman (82)

Gill (76) Gustaffson (78, 3 Gold)

Mason (84, 4 Star Gold)
Emery (78)

I cant remember the current lines, but I think theyre close enough. "Stars" represent their potential, 3 being up to an 82-83, 3.5 being up to an 85, 4 being up to an 89, 4.5 being up to a 92-93

I'll give the Blackhawks a try. I think it is fairly realistic due to how they have performed this season, but feel free to disagree.

Sharp (89) - Toews (91) - Hossa (88)
Saad (84) - ? - Kane (91)
Bickell (78) - Shaw (80) - Versteeg (82)
Bollig (72) - Kruger (79) - Smith (76)

Keith (91) - Seabrook (88)
Hjalmarsson (86) - Oduya (82)
Leddy (82) - Rozsival (80)

Crawford (86)
Raanta (74)

+ Sharp, Kane, Saad, Kruger, Smith, Bollig, Keith, Hjalmarsson, Oduya, Leddy, Raanta
- Toews, Hossa, Seabrook, Bickell, Versteeg, Rozsival
all others the same

:leafs more realistic line up.
Van Riemsdyk (86) - Bozak (84) - Kessel (89)
Lupul (86) - Kadri (85) - Kulemin (82)
Raymond (82) - Bolland (84) - Clarkson (82/83)
Bodie (77/78) - McClement (80) - Ashton (79/80)

Gunnarsson (83) - Phaneuf (87)
Gardiner (81) - Franson (84)
Rielly (80/81) - Gleason (83)

Bernier (84/85)
Reimer (82)

Notes:
+'s
Bernier gets an obvious jump now being Toronto's 'go-to' goalie and kills it the majority of his games.
Bozak gets a small boost showing he's a critical part of Toronto's top-line success.
Bodie & Ashton both get small boosts due to their 4th line physical presence.
Raymond gets a nice new contract (2-2.5m) and a point boost in his offensive catagories.
Kessel gets a nice boost due to this season and last seasons stats and play. Improvement in physicality and defense. Man can now backcheck lol
Franson gets a nice offensive boost along with a nice new contract.

-'s
Clarkson decreases due to the over hype of this guy, solid 3rd liner or depth 2nd liner.
Kulemin gets a one point decrease. I find this guy doesn't do much at all.
Gleason gets a one point decrease.. he's great but I don't find him much of an offensive threat at all, all defense. (offensive stats are lowered and defensive stats balanced for 83 ovr)

Strange of you to nitpick my ratings. You probably don't watch them play on the regular basis. They are the only two players on the team that have made the games seem competitive this season.

I only say that because they play for the bottom team really. EA goes more off of stats, but since its Miller they wont make it to low. And putting Ehrhoff at an 86 puts him 1 below Letang. Ties him with Myers and JJ. And puts him above EJ. Those are just names off the top of my head.

If anything the highest is an 85 for Erhoff. I think Miller will be an 89-90. Even though I Watch the Flames I also watch the Sabres as well because I like Ted Nolan. I have been impressed with them. Ehroff at an 85 is still good.
