I have ranked the below Forwards on NHL offensive upside.....also taking into account the likelyhood that they reach their upside.
I am asking the HF-prospects community to look it over and let me know what alterations you would make to it....
Remember that the ranking is based on Offensive potential, and likelyhood of realizing it.
So for example while many may think that Tarasenko(10) has more NHL upside then Oshie(6), ...T.J. is already in the NHL, relatively established, and on this side of the pond.
A similar distinction could be made with Pulkkinen(21) being lower then Caron(16), but Caron has had a taste of NHL action and has done well in the AHL. Despite this Pulkkinen(21) is ahead of Ryan O'Reilly(24), because while O'Reilly is in the NHL already, his offensive upside is quite limited in comparison to most of the other players on this list.
Any, and ALL analysis and input would be so appreciated....Thanks!
