I'm not sure if Drouin will be second, we'll see.

But yes, we agree, part 1 of this thread is boring. So far it's a unanimous vote, but at some point a troll might vote for Shaw.

I stopped and thought for a few seconds on Drouin being #2 but I'd give him the edge over the next 3. But I do agree, some will not have him 2

I was expecting at least a few dissenting votes, but so far it's a clean sweep for Brendan.

As DA said, it's the voting for 2nd, 3rd and beyond that makes it interesting. I'd give Drouin the #2 spot based on potential + output. Tatar and Byron are solid and peak higher, but their age and talent don't make the peak as sustainable. Of the young players, Lehkonen and Hudon have an outside shot at surpassing Drouin, but I doubt it.

I have Hudon ahead of Armia, but I'll admit it's more based on what I think he can do than what he does.

Armia is great defensively. I just want players that are better offensively than what he brings. I think Hudon can be, with a regular shift.

And I really hope Scherbak can get up to the middle of the pack by the end of the year. He first needs to learn to win puck battles and not turn the puck over. After that, the sky's the limit.
