IMO, Ray Emery should be ahead of Mikael Tellqvist.

When talking pittsburgh goalie prospects... Lehto could also make that list somewhere, slightly better prospect than Niittymäki... Maybe Duba too.

Personally I hold Duba in a higher regard than Lehto but it's close.

It's a shame guys like Lehto and Duba won't really get a chance because of the glut of guys in front of them.

Isn't it amazing just how many prospects could become franchise goaltenders? Add all the other young goaltenders with upside already in the NHL as starters and backups and there's an immense talent pool at that position.

It is gigantic, and they're much better goalies than we've seen in the past too, on a whole. This is going to mean scoring is going to continue to fall, unless there are other changes.

Auld deserves to be there , he was really good in the Canucks playoffs .

I was thinking the same but decided he was no longer a prospect.

Great rankings but im wondering how Ehelechner got so high up on your list.

Lehto is one of the 5 best goalies in Finland right now in a team that hasn't an extensive history of chruning out and developing great goalies, I could only imagine what would happen to him if he were to be transfered to TPS (not very likely considering their goalie position).

Excuse me? Before Lehto there was finnish goalies like Markkanen and Noronen in Tappara, no history? Also in Tappara there was "the other" magical goalie coach Jaakko Siren (nowadays Siren is retired and goalie coach is Raimo Jaakkola), him and Urpo Ylönen (TPS) are the most highly regareded goalie coaches in Finland. Other goalies who have been trained by Siren are in example Toskala, Myllys, Tammi... and just to avoid misunderstandments, Noronen has never been in Siren's "school".
