Observation for those who complained last year about how we got rested teams when we played back to back-so for the oilers are benefiting from playing teams on that second night, but they are not capitalizing on it

Sure hope the team gets their **** together for this game. Too many brain farts last game....especially when facing a goalie that was stopping everything thrown at him.

I'm pretty mad about yesterdays loss.
Buffalo game was bad but this was worse.

this coaching staff needs to perform better. stop learning on the job. every shift must be played to win...not to learn

Oilers need to come out and dominate the Rangers tomorrow... Physically and on the score sheet... no excuses..
Rangers record means nothing...Oilers should win this if they are legit..
Draisiatl and Lucic need to wake up or be on the 4th line..
Slepy+Lander duo is out working these 2
Hopefully the coaches realize this and adjust the lines and ice times accordingly.

Well, if we keep playing to our opponents level, we should hang around till the end in this one, but whether we win or lose is decided on if anyone other than mcdavid decides to show up.

Really tired of the second and third lines being useless points wise.

With kassian coming back, I wanna see some changes.

Either play Jp with mcdavid so he gets some confidence, or send him down.

Maroon mcdavid eberle
pouliot rnh slepy
lucic drai pitlick
Kassian letestu lander

If they keep jp up then

Maroon mcdavid Jp
Pouliot rnh eberle
Lucic drai slepy
Kassian letestu pitlick

Also it's about time to give another dman a shot in Bennings place like oesterle.

What I'd like to see:
Maroon-McDavid-Pitlick
Lucic-RNH-Slepyshev/Kassian
Pouliot-Drai-Eberle
Lander-Letestu-Kassian/Slepyshev

Im really interested in what Slepyshev can do if put on the top 6.

I have a good idea for the team in general.

When you step on the ice, be ready to play. 2 games now where the Oil wasn't ready in the first 10 seconds of play.

Be ready when the puck is dropped.

It definitely won't help the main boards respect us. I'm confident they can turn it around. Just need some team intensity. Hendricks and Kassian coming back would probably make everyone play a bit harder.

They probably deserved a point last night but no finish

They have to go to Anaheim and LA after this game...lose tomorrow and a modest 2 game losing streak can turned into a 5 game one

We will see what the team is made of tomorrow night

We are still 9-5-1 we have almost double our losses in wins... we finished second last in 2016 why are people mad. Last night was a tough loss but this is the NHL you can lose any game and lehtenon has always had our number. We are in every game (except buffalo game but goals from centre can do that)

you CAN'T use our record as an excuse to why it's ok we lost. not now, not ever.

Everything he said is completely logical, so yes he can. The 7-1 start was almost a bad thing for this fan base. Expectations are way too high, that every time we lose a game that on paper we should win everyone loses their mind.

most everyone knew that we would eventually slide away from a 120+ point pace.

There are also no gimme games in this league. We were competitive against the Rangers in NY so I'd expect the same back home.
