Had Sykora ahead of Cuylle before the season started, but the latter has been a pleasant surprise this year. He has a legitimate top6 power forward ceiling.

Add Edstrom.

Cuylle, add Fortescue. The latter has played very well this year, both in college and at the WJC.

I like BMB a ton, but he was off to an inconsistent start, which has been a knock, prior to suffering his bad concussion that's had him out a month. He's probably next up for me or maybe after Edstrom.

In High Altitoad
Cuylle is going to run away with this.

Add Fortescue. Was and still am annoyed they passed on Jayden Perron for him but he's performed himself into legitimate prospect status.

Same thought process (that got BMB and Fortescue close) but I still leaned tiny bit more toward the forward. The inconsistent start and the injury are all (hopefully) temporary setbacks for otherwise middle-6 C projection. Even with his somewhat surprising performance so far I see Fortescue as a 3rd pair D in the NHL.

Here
Cuylle without a doubt.

And as good as the two are ahead of him - I wouldn't be shocked if he actually tops out as #1 on this list when all is said and done.

His game just works in the NHL.
