Korczak was SO close to Lamb and Scanlin in the original 15th round, but now he can't buy a vote in the 18th (exaggerating, of course). I'm a believer that he can develop into a AAAA guy. When you're approaching the 20th round, that's actually pretty good.

I'm going out on a limb and adding Boyko. I know he has no chance, so that's my Ralph Nader vote. But if GW Bush gets added, Imma riot! LOL I'd rather go with my gut and be the only one saying it than just agreeing with the crowd.

Korczak has had a fairly decent rookie pro year but it's still 16 points in 47 games and 4 of those came in one game. He's also had 13 and 6 game scoreless slumps....or where'd he go? He's not on the cusp....he is a ways away. Pretty much everyone left on the board is. His numbers are similar to Henriksson's but Henriksson is a much more rounded player. You can throw Karl into a lot of different situations and he'll doing fairly well.....at the AHL level anyway. The guy I voted for Mancini is big, steady and a very good skater. If the Rangers sign him his style is pretty much already figured out---a stay at home D. I would think he'd need at least 2 years in the AHL to see whether he's 6/7 D material. So there's nothing really at this point that stands one of the remaining players out from any of the others. In some such situations I tend to go with bigger players at least if they skate well.

Pajuniemi is a better player than all of them and the Rangers retained his rights but will we ever see him again? Vaisanen has been coming on a bit in Liiga and the same with Tarnstrom in the Allsvenskan which is a little below the SHL. I'm beginning to think that maybe sign Vaisanen next year if he can pick it up a bit more. Tarnstrom.....probably not. Neither Larsson or Hendricks is killing it in the USHL and if I remember Larsson was already an overager. Hendricks very young for his draft year and very big. Between the two if I had to I'd go with him.
