C Adam Tambellini won the tie-breaker. Since Kovacs got over 45% of the vote in the original poll, I'll place him at #10 because clearly the next round will be a blowout anyway if I leave him in there. C Steven Fogarty and C Brad Morrison are added to the poll.

WHO IS A PROSPECT: We can't all have different standards based on what we each want personally, so we follow HF rules. The standard for what's a prospect is here: http://www.hockeysfuture.com/whatmakesaprospect

Please write-in who you think should be added to the poll.

Going with Nieves because point per game is solid production in the NCAA. He's big (6-3 200), fast and sees the ice well.

Add Skapski because he already played 2 good NHL games and was very good in the AHL last season.

Went with Halverson, knowing full well he could go either way.

Skapski's taken a big step back this year, but I'm not yet ready to say his long-term potential's gone off the tracks.

Not sold on Nieves. The feet are there, but nothing else terribly impresses me. Maybe his skating allows him to become a bottom six forward, but right now I think his skating and age fairs better against his current level of competition than it will at a higher level.

tough choice between Boo and Halverson but went with Boo

add Skapski

you can see a key to NYR future right there in the 'Second Tier'
- those 4 F's = Gropp, Saarela, Tambo, Kovacs -
gotta hope at least 3 of 4 become NHL'ers

Throw in Nieves, Fogarty and Iverson in there as well. If 3 of the 7 make it as third liners, I'm happy. Getting a full third line from a bunch of non-first round picks is a major boon for the team.
