not for nothing but STL is about a mile better than both of them. But they did play a pretty good game against a top 5 team in the league. The only excuse that can be made is Biron literally cost this team two goals. And maybe if Staal learned to cover his ****ing man literally one goal would have been scored. They did put forth a good effort. Can't just write off every loss as a bad game.

A loss is still a loss. Losing 82 games all by 1 goal means what? When did the standards become so low that coming close is acceptable? How is blaming Biron an excuse? Lundqvist was terrible against the Ducks and Sharks.

It's acceptable because no team is going 82-0 and after the past two games the effort that the skaters put forth was a step in the right direction. Not everything is so black and white. People want to say "no excuses" but there are certainly circumstances that prevent teams from winning/losing.
