I like the call to take out Shields, but i would of went with Herrera, in a playoff game you should be able to get 12 outs out of Herrera Davis and Holland.

Well this is only the 3rd one. It's 1-1 so far, Pirates won last year obvi and the Rays beat the Indians at the Jake.

This is a good example of why over-analyzing in the WC game doesn't matter much. Shields is likely better than Lester, arguably Bumgarner, and definitely Volquez, but it's just a one-game performance.
