I am making this thread to vent about the final season of Ragnarok. It is one of the most poorly written season of a show I’ve seen. Spoilers incoming.
It is painfully evident they had the budget of a bag of Doritos for season 3. The special effects and the insanely goofy storylines for a show with only 6 episodes. Now for the writing. The show heavily implies that Magne suffers from some ptsd and he has shizofrenic detachments that allow him to create stories where he’s a hero. And the final battle they just drop their weapons? That’s all this led to? All of this led to that being the most climactic moment? Where they do nothing and live in harmony? What a cop out.
Absolutely unbelievable writing. This is lazy writing. The writers had written a good story the first two seasons and had zero idea how to end it. They went with the most pathetic cop out that Magne likely imagined the whole thing to begin with.
Corny writing , lazy writing , unimaginative writing, corny characters to represent gods, and boring subplots.
