He shaved 17 minutes before that picture. That doesn't look like Gudas though.
Boucher suggested he trim it and was subsequently fired.
I'm sure Cooper won't mind his beard if he didn't mind it in the AHL. Also, I was surprised when Boucher asked Gudas to trim his beard. Does he really have any authority to do that? It's not like his beard interfered with his play.
The Yankees require all of their players be clean-shaved.
But I don't really care. The beard is badass. It's also Gudas.
Gudas did it on his own. Boucher, or anyone for that matter could never ask Gudas to do such a thing.I'm sure Cooper won't mind his beard if he didn't mind it in the AHL. “I thought it looks more professional, and not a lot of guys here have beards, so I thought I would go with the team look,’’ said Gudas, who played just more than 15 minutes in his debut.
The origin of 'Guy made Gudas trim his beard' seem to originate from Gord Miller calling Gudas' second game a while back and saying it.
Was he serious? Who really cares that much?
He looked awful last night, worst game I've seen from him. I'm a little worried about his foot speed, if he was bigger he could get away with it cause of reach. I don't think he can be s top 4, good bottom pair only.
it is his first season in the NHL, one game and all of a sudden he can't be a top 4 d-man?
Overreaction too much?
