Canucks are on their third string rookie goalie.
You have to at least put up a fight even if you’re missing a couple of good players. They still have lots of good players.
This is as one sided a series as we’ve seen.
We all realize this, it still does not make their statement untrue. The Avs appear to have taken their ball and went home like a bunch of petulant children. If they do so again, they will be golfing. Likely regardless.

Yup, at practice -- and was in his usual spot on powerplay #1 so they had no idea. Team wasn't looking great in game 3 already; pretty certain finding out Nuke had gone and gotten himself kicked out of the playoffs for the second consecutive year a few hours before puckdrop broke the team. Dallas will clean them out at home now.
If losing a teammate because of injury or suspension is enough to break them, they deserve to lose and should be emberaassed.
Round 1 was clearly more Jets sucking than Avs being good.
Such an overrated team and a lot of their fans coming into the nucks thread and talking shit look pretty damn silly right now.

Im sure a lot of it is frustration. Their realization that Dallas is just a better team
It was smart play by Dallas... They didn't stir anything up... Like they didn't want to wake the dragon .. no after whistle stuff, no scrums.. not even initiating much physical play.

The Avs on the other hand .. you expect different in their situation.. they should have tried to manifest a little juice... Go finish a hit, get in on a forecheck, face wash someone... Nothing.

(Talking specifically about the third)

Dallas is a great team. I wish this matchup played out like everyone hoped, but the Avs have been pathetic and as good as the Stars have been, the Avs have beat themselves. If both teams play up to par the series is a coin flip, but the Avs haven't showed up. Losing Nuke is the nail in the coffin.

Will be rooting for Dallas/Florida SCF.

It would suck to come off as a fan of another team talking shit, you don’t want to look silly. Good thing you’re better than that!

Honestly, I've ragged on DeBoer in the past for being seemingly incapable of adapting his systems in the postseason and, granted, so far he hasn't really had to but on top of having a clicking lineup, the team seems well coached and seems to have that special something you see in cup winners. Still remains to be seen but I'm impressed.
Would love to see them v Carolina.

Dallas now 13-2 in Game 4s in the Jamie Benn/Tyler Seguin era. A very useless but bizarre stat.

(Both losses were to Blake Coleman)

Yep. I'd bet money Colorado attempts to terminate his contract. Can't see any reason the NHL doesn't grant it either as this is what, the third incident Nich has been apart of.

That drug addiction may just cost him a lot of money.
Well there's 4 stages to the assistance program, so until he exhausts all his chances with that, I can't see the league letting the Avs outright terminate it, and the nhlpa surely would have a problem with that. If it was 3 strikes and you're out then there wouldn't be a 4th stage to the program, before a potential indefinite suspension could kick in.
