They could have some stats too....

It's yet another put up or shut up game for the Kraken during their first playoff run in franchise history.
Once again they're the underdogs and hardly anyone thinks they can pull it off.

But as we know, they usually show..

The important thing will be the weather the attack by the Stars to start the game given that they'll certainly try to show a reaction from that loss on Saturday while also establishing themselves.

The Kraken need to be carefull with that and try to use potential mistakes by a highly motivated Stars team.
They'll also just have to keep on rolling those lines, forecheck the sh** out of Dallas and give em hell.

And as always...

I am FAR more nervous than I was for G7 against Colorado. It's been all house money since February but the stakes are so high and they're so close!

I'm also more confident than I was for G7 against Colorado. Just win I guess.

I’ve gotten to be a huge Kraken fan this season. I’m also a big UND hockey fan so I’m a bit biased since Hakstol is the coach. Just love watching this team with the constant pressure they out on teams. I’ve never seen a team backcheck like the Kraken do. Non stop motors. Here is to a Kraken victory tonight over the hated Stars

As usual with the Kraken, these things are most important.. 1) win a decent share of Faceoffs (we'll acquire a couple of specialists in the off-season), and 2) be quick and first to the puck and win the board battle. That can overcome lack of skill. But, don't forecheck hard if low likelihood of control or of wasting Dallas time in their zone, and 3) stand them up at the blue line, 4) NO penalties...the refs are fair, but not calling much on Dallas at all, and swallow in the 3rd period. First goal probably wins.

Hope Grubauer has a hot game. If he does we just might land in the Conference finals.

Indeed. He was so quick across the crease against Avs, and early Dallas games. Seems a bit slower now. He for sure has stop to Dallas from scoring first. NO odd man rushes!!
