Quick Tyson Barrie question

Hey NHL experts! A couple of quick questions:

1) Was Barrie utilized on the 3 on 3 OT regularly in the past?

2) Do you think that Barrie should be used during OT, or will his defensive weaknesses outweigh his offensive prowess?

Thanks for the insight!

I hope there's more of an effort to mix up the personnel used in OT this season to keep the opposition guessing.

With McDrai out all the time, other teams learned that all they have to do is win the opening faceoff for possession and don't let them touch the puck, cycle around the neutral zone to get them chasing and then attack through an opening when a break down occurs.

To answer your question, I think you could get away with throwing Barrie with McDrai, but only if it's done sparingly as the same strategy will still work.

But if you rotate through some other combinations with a forward on the ice with a decent two-way game, he would be perform quite well I think.

Hell, if Bear continues his development throughout the season you could even try
