Quick question about Ovechkin

What position does he play? I always saw him listed as a RWer, but lately I've read a few scouting reports that has him listed on the LW. I'm sure it's not far-fetched that he switches from wing to wing, but does he have a primary position?

Russianprospects has him as a RW whereas the CSB lists him as a LW. His club Dynamo has him as LW as well, and I'd assume they know their stuff

I would think that whatever team drafts him would at least attempt to convert him to center.

He plays all three position. Earlier he played as a Right wing more often. Last season on the national team he was used as center a bit, but primarily played Left Wing. This season he is playing left wing. As far as defense he has skated on the power play unit as the fourth forward. He plays all positions besides goalie! He is right handed.
