Yeah I’d imagine that’s what they’ll do. Most goalie skates already have those slots... kind of dumb that his didn’t, and this just highlights it.

Probably didnt expect it. They had the same brain fart with cages for a while too

Yeah I’m sure NHL goalies will be contacting Bauer and VH About this. They could put a small piece of plastic under the boot to reduce the gap for now.

Came here to post this, new style skate look like player skates at first glance. But so many are starting to go cowl-less. I'm like yourself, old school goalie. I still rock my CCM Tacks that I bought around 1990 lol They're like wearing slippers.
