Question About Sweden's Goalie's Actions After the US Game

    So, the US players got their medals and went through and shook the hands of all of the Swedes after the game. After the last US player went though, the Swedish goalie (don't know his name, he had the colored pads on, not the white ones), wiped his hand on the ice and shook it.

    Did anyone else catch this? I'm just wondering if he was pissed or if it was just something normal.

    Not trying to stir the pot.

    He won't wear the US players sweat?! What a disgrace to the game of hockey and the greatest country in the world. :sarcasm:

    On a more serious note, I always see this. Everyone does this after a handshake. Pretty normal after you've shaken 25 different, sweaty, hands?

    It's very common in SEL and Allsvenskan, they wipe the hands off to minimize the risk of getting any sicknesses. Isn't it quite common in NA as well?
