I don't even know what Virtanen was trying to do there. I mean you want them to touch the puck to get longer 5 on 3, and even if you don't, you tie him up another Fin gets to the puck first.

Only thing I can think of is 5 on 3 wasn't enough, he was trying to draw a hooking penalty or something
