It's odd as they list him as in year 2 of his contract.
To clarify he's in year 4/4 of his contract, Calgary is nowhere near the cap, and 2.55M is one of the biggest discounts in the league.
He has mentioned that he won't take another discount; so I can see some speculation that he might be traded if we aren't liking negotiations based on what he saw Clarkson and Bollard get vs his injury history.
Most teams would pay the premium to get him. Would he move to them? No idea.
The issue with these NMC's is just this. Calgary could probably get a massive premium for Glenny, but it's unlikely he'd waive.
At the deadline, I could see a team willing to give up a decent prospect or 2nd rounder for Glenny if he has a non-injury-plagued season.
