Does it drive anyone else crazy when there is a puck battle deep in the corner and to consistently see 2, then 3, then 4 wings trying to free the puck. 90% of the time the puck squirts outs anyhow and all 4 wings are no where near the puck. Why not send in 1 maybe 2 guys to fight then position guys in front of the net (either end) for the inevitable stray puck?
Also, what the hell is up with the wings favoring the ice behind the goal line in the O zone? It's not uncommon to see all 3 forwards behind the damn goal line. I realize it can help to be there and make a pass to the front of the net, but that would count on two things: 1) we ACTUALLY have someone in the front of the net and 2) that we can complete a pass. We seldom have someone camped out front especially with Abby out.
