Can they stop putting him on pedestal already? Just this character and intangibles bullshit puts even more pressure on him. Why not just let him play his game?

he got lucky. Real f***ing lucky. If i was the team i would still suspend him a game, with the game check going to that ref's favorite charity or something. Only to show the refs that the organization takes this serious. I do think he is sincere in his apology.

A 20 or 21 years old kid made a mistake. It happens. He apologized and is clearly sincere. Time to move on.

that is sugar coating it. There are a whole host of mistakes a player can make on the ice. This falls into the extreme , even if it didn't result in any injury.
