Why is it unlikely that a nineteen year old player, who is already very good defensively, to make big strides in improving his defensive play?

I’m talking about him being a selke level player not a good defensive player in general. I think he will for sure become a solid player defensively but developing selke level defence is a different thing all together.

I don't think he will. He will have good 2-way play but not Selke level imo just one of those guys that can play both ways but you won't see them killing penalties or being the go-to guy defensively or anything. They definitely won't want to risk injuring him. Have a 3rd liner do the dirty work

so yea, after watching him play I do believe he can win one. he's just so smart.
