I think they take home town discounts because Boston has great sponsors. They probably make a lot from other sources when they are a Bruin.

Disagree 1000% Number one D man are impossible to find. Pasta is a great player but I would think a GM being forced to pick between the two, it's a pretty easy choice.

I agree with you. A number 1 D is a higher value than a #1 wing.

Both (in today's NHL) are $9-10M p.a. contracts on 5-7 years. Sucks that the roster will be top heavy but that's what we can expect given production so far.
