Debuting Ref Cam during tonight's game.

Enjoying the replays with that.
"Debuting" in what sense? There was a Ref Cam feeding to the webcast on Feb. 28th, New York @ Ottawa.

ETA: I'm glad somebody enjoys that media tool, so the PWHL doesn't feel completely foolish for using it.

One game suspension for Toronto's Brittany Howard for "a cross check to the back of the head of a Montréal defender at 17:28 of the second period in Toronto’s game against Montréal on Mar. 8".

Howard and teammate Rebecca Leslie are also fined $250 each for "actions during an altercation at 8:06 of the second period against Montréal [on Mar. 8], where Howard and Leslie, each grabbed the facemask of an opposing player".

Wasn't called a penalty in the game even though the ref is looking right at the play.

When they issue the League rulebook on the very day it starts play (fact), then instruct their on-ice officials to allow the players to increase physical play (rumored, alluded to, and indicated by wide-spreading behavior), plus they are competing for a share of a hockey market dominated by a league where such behavior is commonplace (another fact), why would anyone be surprised to see such actions in the PWHL game?

Why is it that for any other minor pro hockey league, there is widespread fan questioning of the accuracy of attendance figures? Why does the PWHL get a pass on that business detail?
