Top 2 lines and Price were huge the past 2 games. Need something out of the bottom 6

Bottom-six doesn't matter that much. Many teams rely on just one line offensively.... Anyway, Byron and Armia are injured.

Habs are for real if Price can continue to play like this, Weber is back along with Armia and Byron.

They are asking price to outright or borderline steal every game. It's not possible.

They are "for real" if they figure out how to reduce the ridiculous amount of chances they are giving up.

I think it's been like this almost all year actually. The difference in the last stretch is that it seems their sustained possession time in the offensive zone has come down, so there's just more time available to do damage on the other end.

Well that was a good game. B.C boys came through. Glad Price gets a few days without having the sky fall on him. Gallagher and Shaw showing that good things happen when you go to the net. Drouin playing like the player he was expected to be when traded for. Magie. Petry was a star tonight. I'm becoming a fan of Schlemko, he's a pretty smart defensemen.

My only critiques. Agostino isn't an NHL player. He's killing that line. Move up Hudon please. Dress 7 d if you have to. Deslauriers is not a good NHL player or PKer. Byron can't come back soon enough. He and Weber will make a world of difference, in the weaknesses showing.

Big win to keep pace in the (surprisingly) ultra competitive Atlantic.

Yeah. Just too bad only 5 of them at most can go into the Playoffs while the Metroplitan will get three for sure, even with worse records....

45 shots allowed against Calgary, 37 shots tonight.....2 wins.
Can't complain, but still lots of work to do

Definitely. But if the team continues to score at this rate and Price continues the way he's played the last two games, Habs are in business. The defense doesn't even need to be perfect. Just good enough. And let's not forget, Weber should be the biggest help in that department.

Tonight's defence was a big improvement. Vancouver didn't get nearly the number of high-danger chances that Calgary and Edmonton did.

I disagree about looking at shots to evaluate the defensive work. They have played much better defensively the last 2 games than in the 10 previous ones regardless of the shots. Calgary and Vancouver took a bunch of weak shots from the point while against NYR, Washington, etc. they allowed a ton of high danger chances while allowing a little bit less shots.
