I might be looking to try something different in this league, so, Carey Price is tenuously available for a franchise right handed forward and decent goaltender. I'm talking someone like Kovalchuk or a Corey Perry or Grabner if the goalie is better. Won't move him unless it's a great offer (obviously). Can include a lesser player like Weber to even out contracts and such.

Added consideration will be given to anyone willing to take Gomez in this deal.

Note that Montreal is yet to make a single trade and is very much looking to make one (or two!). Looking to upgrade on right-handed top 6 forwards and top 4 D. No one is untouchable, extra consideration given to anyone willing to take Gomez (ie. if you want one of my stars, you're taking him too).

I'm sending out offers, but please feel free to send me yours! Particularly looking to move one of Plekanec, Eller, Desharnais, Kaberle (and of course Gomez)

:flyers still have a prospect trade. Obviously Huberdeau is unavailable. Don't ask.

I'm pretty happy with how my roster projects next year, but I have a surplus of near-NHL defensive prospects (3rd pairing types).

M. A. Bourdon (22, LH-TWD, 71, 3.0R*)
O. Bartulis (25, LH-TWD, 73, 2.5*)
S. Bertilsson (21, LH-TWD, 56, 3.5*)

I'd like to balance out my prospect pool with a RH defensive prospect. If the prospect is good enough, I can add a pick as the third piece.

I'd also be willing to move a LW prospect for a RW prospect.

B. Ranford (20, LW-TWF, 63, 3.5*)

Finally, I have two strong goalie prospects.

N. Hovinen (24, G-HYB, 68, 3.0)
J. Eriksson (22, G-BUT, 63, 3.0)

Hovinen jumps to high 70s next year, while Ericksson takes two years to get to that point. I'd be willing to move one of them for either of the needs listed above--a RW or RHD prospect--but Hovinen will require a pretty significant piece in return.

I "nyi" have not made a trade yet either... I'm trading anyone 28 and over for good prospects, full rebuild. I can bundle a few players for a real good prospect for those making a cup push.

Can I bank my trades for future seasons?

No, at least not for the two major trades.

I think we had imagined the prospect swap as a one-time thing in season one, but I'm not sure.

EDIT: I believe Chuck said that we will get a prospect trade every year.

So, add this to the long list of issues with the GMC rosters.

Flyers prospect Brandon Manning is not in their system. He also isn't currently in the FA list. I'm assuming EA made the 21 year old draft eligible (despite him spending significant time in the AHL), because I know he shows up in future years.

If you happen to see him, please don't sign him, and if you draft him, I'll expect him to be dealt to me afterwards. He's one of the Flyers only decent defensive prospects, so I sort of need him.

I mention all of this now because it is possible that there are other players in similar situations. As we go through the end of this first season, take note of any prospect who should be on your team but isn't (but is in the game). We can sort it all out in the offseason.
