This Blues team is the new old Vancouver as far as I'm concerned. It's one thing to play a hard hitting physical style, it's another to take swings at players legs etc.

Disagree. They were better matched with the Hawks. Blues beat you down....Hawks you can skate with. We nearly had them by the tail feathers last spring.

And "Wrecker" sure isn't a solution for the Blues either. Seemed more like a distraction that kept the penalty box warm all night.

Change those contracts to professional tryouts and omit Bertuzzi and you've got a deal.

I wouldn't spit on that guy if he was on fire, let alone give him any kind of contract.

Sounds like everything that was wrong with hockey was in that game.

Every time a team starts getting pushed around and tries to act tough, they end up taking a bunch of dumb penalties and losing. If you let the refs make the calls and cash in on the PP, you win. I don't expect anything different from Yeo than what he did.

I don't understand this either. I don't see the production or the effectiveness Yeo raves about. I guess he "does the right things" in practises and off ice but it doesn't translate into game situations.

shirley you cant be serious? the broadstreet bullies era is long gone (or should be) i dont mind if once in awhile the gloves drop. just the other day i went to a boxing match and a hockey game broke out.
