It’s possible. Because judging by their Twitter account, they didn’t post the team landing at the airport until two hours before game time. Literally feels like they landed, got on the bus, got to the locker room, went to warmups, played a game, went back to the airport and flew home.

At least that better be the timeline for such an ugly performance.

This game should have never happened. 8 games was a lot for preseason.

This was a rough preseason.

We started off well. With the four games in Sept, we went 3-1 with a +5 goal diff. The next four games to start Oct, we went 1-3 with a -10 diff. We won the first game in Oct, 5-4.

I think all the "extra" full practices in the AM and game day in the PM caught up with us. Despite the tv telecast saying Cronin was gonna stop doing that procedure, he kept on doing it.

There’s no quick fix here. We’re deep into the rebuild. Need to suck it up and draft well these next 2 years. And develop what we have

We didn’t look the best, but the main thing that has me feeling ok about the preseason is that the young D looked good, with Minty looking ready for the show. And Carlsson had one of the more dominant games I’ve seen from one of our prospects, the points will come, but he was far and away the best player on the ice the last game he played.

I call this preseason a win. I could give a crap about the scores or record, with how the vets phoned it in more than E.T. Phoning home.

We saw young D emerge like Mintyukov, Zellweger, and LaCombe, and saw Carlsson is ready for the NHL, and showing a lot of potential.

So, how it happens is that preseason results are not counted in total season standings. The games are played but purely for practice purposes to get the players going. Great teams have had horrible pre-seasons. Being bad in it also does not guarantee anything, but it's not yet time for concern.

It's not a hard concept to grasp
