Leblond - Kalinin - Blandisi

If it were up to me, I'd throw Blandisi with the big guys like Rico and Palmieri.

I'm hoping they can cross him off the list after tonight. I would be more worried if they would dress him later on in preseason.

How many current Devils players satisfy the veteran rule.

It may be why they brought 8 defenseman. Like if one guy can't play that would be considered a veteran, Schlemko plays as a 7th D.

i wanna see JQ playing w quality players. zacha and thompson are good, but only thompson is experienced with pro hockey, and even then, it's not NHL experience. so it'd be great to see him playing w henrique and/or palms

He'd have to either scratch 2 defesemen, or scratch 2 forwards and play with 8 defensemen.

That JQ-Henrique-Palmieri line is all of the hearts desires in one. Stoked they are together.

also, the bruins lineup looks pretty meh. i'm def biased, but we SHOULD do pretty well against them, so if we have a poor showing, i'm going to be slightly disappointed. I mean, they have two of their 1st round picks from this year on the same line together!

I would agree with you. He reminds me of a Brandon Sutter type player. Someone who can lot into any of the positions on the 2nd and 3rd line.

I hope Henrique and Palmieri can both take a step towards being first line players this year though. It's something that I feel could propel the Devils into some form of competitive team.

NJ will always be competitive with Schneider and that defense, think late 90's Buffalo Sabres.
