Kind of a shame that they're making a big deal about playing the first NHL exhibition in Iowa and not even showing it on TV.

It's a missed opportunity to boost/showoff the Iowa stadium. It's a nice stadium with 15k seats and decent amenities after all. The Twins even have a day game today, so it's not interfering with them.

I've looked to see if there was a Blues tv feed, but they don't televise any of their preseason games. I understand that; STL is a baseball city.

Oh yea. Crazy that they are just sending the radio team and not setting up a television broadcast in Des Moines, Iowa.

What does Minnesota's lines look like tonight? Blues are about half of the normal roster:

Schwartz-Schenn-Perron
Steen-Bozak-Blais
Fabbri-Barbashev-Kostin
Toropchenko-Musil-Thorburn

Edmundson-Pietrangelo
Walman-Rienke
Mikkola-Lofquist

Rough guess on the lines:

Zucker/Staal/Granny-no guess there
Foligno/Fehr/Read- gut feeling for testing possible 4th lines for the season
Shaw/Kloos/Sokolov-AHL top-6 line
Beck/O'Reilly/Mayhew

Brodin/Dumba-no guess
?/Murphy
?/Menell

The Blues forums have a spiffy GDT thread title prefix: Half-Assed GDT. :thumbu:

Wild need to stop with the penalties. Lots last game, and an early one tonight.

Kloos gets the goal on a redirect on Dumba's point shot. I guess?
