Campbell has made some big saves. We are playing pretty good 5-5 hockey but it aint mattering with special teams being this bad and our shots not being converted.

The "new system" isn't the issue. The total inability to kill a penalty is. The now 12.5% PP is crippling.

If you would have been up in arms for this type of play when Hynes, Lavy, or Trotz were behind the bench why are you tolerating it now?

But it's only four games? Right? That is the mantra. Forget there was an entire camp and a week of regular season gone by. In four games, the team allowed 5+ twice. Even with the shutout against Seattle the team is averaging 3.5 GA. (assuming nothing else goes in this last 13 minutes of play).

This team went 13-9-2 after the deadline last season ... that's with these same 6 defenders until Josi got hurt, with 9 or 10 of these same forwards during that time. 1-3-0, one 5on5 goal for so far this season.

We just made Jack Campbell look Vezina ready. Jack, 4 goals in a hurry against Vancouver, Campbell.

But no bald head coach behind the bench.
