Fisher- "A"

Alternates will rotate to different guys until Fisher returns.
First guy in that rotation will be Josi.

Interesting that Neal gets the "A". Not really many other options though.

Would have thought Jokinen was in line for a letter, simply due to his experience in the league. In the end though, it doesn't really matter all that much.

Kind of happy to see they are trying to possibly break the trend of 1 and done with the alternate captains.

Piskula was named the Admirals captain today, Mark Van Guilder and Colton Sissons will wear the “A” on their jerseys as the team’s alternate captains.

Not surprised at all that Neal was given the A. There really is no point in giving it to any of the 1 yr vets who may or may not be here next season. Neal is signed till 2018 so he's going to be here for 4 more yrs.
He's older and has more experience then Josi so even though this is his 1st yr with the team it makes sense. Fisher keeping the A isn't a big surprise either.
