- Noticeable improvement from Cowen.
- Turris has fits of inconsistency on the top line.
- Zibanejad establishes offensive game by breaking 50 points (20 goals).
- Legwand proves to be great value signing.
- Anderson dealt at the trade deadline.
- MacLean distributes ice-time poorly.
- GSN line returns and continues to take poor penalties with no offensive game.
- Greening continues poor form.
- Mark Stone establishes himself as a 2nd line winger.
- Mike Hoffman proves to be inconsistent and sees limited ice-time in a top 6 role.
- Erik Karlsson hits 75+ points while improving defensively. Skating returns to true form.
- Marc Methot bounces back playing with a healthy EK.
- Gryba continues to be inconsistent.
- Bobby Ryan scores 30+ goals.
- Clarke MacArthur slows down slightly.

Sens finish anywhere between 6th and 9th in the East.

I'm expecting about the same offensive output this season, somewhere in the 230 to 240 goal range. Without Spezza the attack will be more balanced and there will be three decent two-way lines. I am expecting a big improvement defensively, hopefully around 220 goals against.

I'm predicting the division to be very close. After Boston, I could really see any of the other seven teams finishing in any order. I think it's most likely that Montreal will finish 2nd though, and I'd favour Ottawa to finish 3rd. Like I say though, I'm expecting 2nd through 8th to be very close. I also think both the wildcard spots will go to the Metropolitan.

Individually, I think Karlsson will have a better year overall, but with the absence of Spezza on the powerplay, I think his assists might drop slightly. I'll peg him for just under 70 points.

If he stays uninjured, I'm hoping Ryan will return to form with around 35 goals. I'll say the Turris line all get around 60 points.

Zibby I'll peg for about 45 points, split evenly between goals and assists. I'll say Michalek and Legwand get around 40 or just a touch under.

I expect Stone and Chiasson will fight for the spot on the second line, with neither able to get the upper hand, and both will finish on around 30 points.

I'll say Cowen bounces back, but Ceci has a bit of a slump and spends a bit of time in the AHL.

Hoffman either spends most of the year in the AHL or gets traded.

Anderson and Lehner both have solid seasons with 2.45 - 2.65 GAAs and .915 - .925 save percentages. The games are closely split, with both appearing in more than 40 games.

I expect the team to play hard-nosed hockey and put last year's disaster behind them

I think the playoffs are a reasonnable goal since we didn't miss by much after having almost everything go wrong

Not as high scoring but better defensively

It will be interesting to see how we do against the Western Conference since those games are probably what killed us last year (other than the refs giving those two games to Montreal at the end of the season)

Karlsson 21+56 (77), nominated for Norris but doesn't win

Turris 28+35 (63)

Ryan 37+29 (66) and we sign him to a 7 x 7 deal this offseason WITHOUT A NTC/MNC

Macarthur 26 + 27 (53) and we extend him to 6 x 5 deal mid-season.

Zibanejad 18 + 24 (42)

Cowen isn't completely horrible

Ceci sophomore slumps

Anderson gets injured midseason, misses the rest of the season, walks in the offseason. Lehner, in his absence, puts up a .904

The Sens finish second last in the division, next to Buffalo, and despite those guys having good seasons, the Sens only manage to score 204 goals, and take 266 against

Lazar gets nine games and goes back to Edmonton where he captains them to another Memorial cup, memorial cup MVP, and he captains the juniors to finally breaking Canada's gold-less streak

Ryan asks for a trade post-season because he doesn't think Ottawa can compete, so we troll the hell out of him by trading him to Buffalo for the 7th pick (Isles) +

We use our pick to draft Kylington at 5 and New York's to draft Zacha at 7
