I selected 36-42, but I really think he can get 50+ points, IF he's given top 6 minutes. Though, with the moves this team made, even if he's on the 3rd line, he has a good center with him.

Nelson-Tavares-Okposo
Strome-Graboski-Kulemin
Bailey-Nielsen-Grabner

If he's on the 2nd or 3rd line he should still put up decent numbers.

he finished on pace for about 40 points, and was improving. i don't see any reason why he can't get 40 or better.

This really depends on his usage on the PP. If he plays on the #1 PP unit, he's going to collect points. A full year on the PP, he'll collect 50+ points.

Dunno how this is going to shake out.

I think he'll have 45-50 points.

But circumstances do change and if he finds himself on the JT/KO line he'll get 60.

he is way too good of a play maker to not put up 50 points with 2 players with previous chemistry, I'm expecting him to be top 3 on the team in assists

Grabovski and Kulemin are better offensively than Nielsen and Grabner. I think Nielsen's point totals are going to back to what they used to be this season.

I think that'll be because of use. They're going to use Nielsen more in matchup roles, PK'ing, and lead protection situations.

I'll go out on a limb and say he gets 50+. He is just really, really talented. I think he will be used mostly in a top-6 role, and I wouldn't be shocked to see him get some time with JT and/or Okposo when Cappy wants to shake things up.

Plus, he should definitely get decent pp time.

Are you sure about that? Because I don't necessarily agree.

This, he is the second most talented player on the team. He will be getting top line PP minutes and top 6 minutes.

I have to agree. We saw Nielsen matched up with Crosby the whole series back in the lockout series, as shown here... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eB2eCZTfAo0#t=359

Nielsen is going to be our defensive specialist, but with that said, I don't think Grabovski is really any better offensively than Nielsen.

I really do, but then again Kulemin and Grabovski struggled HARD at one point, while Nielsen never really did and Grabner struggled but still found ways to score. I just think that them playing together in a new setting with a team that trusts them, they won't struggle.

Incidentally, I think we agree on everything.

Great, now I know why you guys are becoming BFF's  ;)

Hard to guess where he will end up given we have no clue where he will be playing when it comes to the PP. Being used on the first unit PP could be the difference of 10-15 points

My bet is 40-45 points and 2nd unit PP

With Grabo, 50+ points I think. Somewhere along the line of 22g 30a. I also think he will see significant power play time.

Would also not rule out move to top line LF. I do think that it is Nelson's to lose but you never know..
