Pleased to see Ufko signed, although I've grown to be more skeptic after the whole Farrance thing went south.

Ufko's a smaller defenseman with average skating which will make it just that much harder to become an NHL'er. Of course, some have done it but not a lot.

Just depends on the rest of his defensive game and stickwork which from my understanding is very good. If he has good instincts, gap control, stickwork, etc he can compensate for some average skating. Probably still get burnt by elite skaters like mcdavid but they burn everyone
