if a player can’t shoot the puck as naturally and needs to avoid contact then he inherently has fewer options. he didn’t adapt his game well enough, or recognize where he was limited. i don’t think we need to worry about that unless he continues to get injured or this lingers.

he didn’t look this careless last year
Ya, Jack who can sometimes look like he has the puck on a sting going through multiple defenders at full speed now sometimes struggles to stickhandle at low speed with nobody around him.

Some carelessness in the second half of this year is just his body not acting like he expects it to at times.

We all saw him wire the puck past Soros last night? So he can shoot that but not make a simple pass to keep possession or get out of the zone?

Its not the injury that’s stopping him from making safe simple plays to keep us in the game
