If we're going to be a 7 defense/11 forward team on many nights as Boucher has suggested and two of those forwards are Neil and Kelly...

Not feeling it. That basically makes you a three line team.

Can't imagine this is going to happen given the sens personel on d. I am not against the idea at all but the bottom pairing on this team is weak to begin with.

Unless there are injuries there is really no circumstances that this team should ever be dressing boro and Neil on the same night.

Everyone needs to step away from the ledge it's pre season new system new lines new players. Guys just getting back from injuries and some veterans that need a few games to get acclimatized to the speed. There is going to be an adjustment period.

I agree this is just a pre-season game but we had our entire lineup -3 players and their best player dressed was Paul Byron. Paul ****ing Byron. It's just pre-season but that was an embarrassing loss nonetheless.

The only thing that makes this loss a whole lot less significant was the nonstop line juggling throughout the game and the new strategies you could see Boucher implementing to see what works and what needs more work on.

WHo cares? Almost the whole Habs team was trying to win a job while the Senators were just getting reps in.

**** happens, its preseason. Doesn't matter

Honestly ever since cameron put boro on the first line as forward it seems people have an axe to grind with him. Even when he has good games or games where he is at least not the worst dman people choose to focus on him.

Not saying i wouldnt rather have someone better just saying he gets a lot of critcism. Some of it unfair

Looking at a few advanced stats it looks like Ceci was in the same realm as being bad as Boro yet rarely will he draw peoples anger

He's the whipping boy. Jsut the way it's gunna be now.

Damned fewest minute eating defenseman costing the team everything. What a ******.

He may be the whipping boy but he's also one of our worst players. So someone's gotta be the whipping boy!

True, but the bottom pair is generally where a team's worst defenseman plays :P

It would be nice if the Sens could bring in slightly more expensive vet to fill that role, but it is what it is. Boro is cheap, well liked by the team and by all accounts good int he locker room.

He's not going anywhere. Even if they bring in another guy he'll be the 7th.

Boro is what he is, people shouldn't get so upset at him. He has a limited skill set but is a very honest player, he give it his all and puts his body on the line. He won't take shifts off, something a lot of players do on this team. Atleast we know what we are getting from him no selfish plays.

However you're right he isn't very good and management should have added a veteran d man. It's on them not Boro. So if you all want a whipping boy due to this circumstance your anger should be directed at management/ownership. It was very obvious this needed to be addressed and they did nothing about it but bring in barkowski on a PTO.
